Love Itoya is an award-winning Greek-Nigerian singer-songwriter and powerhouse, winner of World Artist of the Year (2025) at the Josie Music Awards in Nashville, Tennessee marking her first-ever U.S. appearance which was televised at the ACN TV Network. She also won the 2024 BEFFTA Award for Best UK African Artist, affirming her status as one of the most dynamic and inspiring voices in contemporary music.

A London-based artist born in Thessaloniki, Greece, to Nigerian parents of Edo and Esan heritage, Love is celebrated for her magnetic stage presence, soulful authenticity, and fearless fusion of pop, soul, and Afro-contemporary sounds. A true creative force, Love writes her own songs, crafts her melodies, and co-produces her music, shaping a sound that is both distinctive and emotionally powerful.

Her journey began in Greece with her debut EP Introduction, released in 2021, before moving to London to further her career. Her breakout single “Space”, co-produced by Love Itoya and female producer Kiffa Soul, marked a powerful comeback in 2024 after a three-year hiatus, accompanied by a self-directed music video that showcased her creative vision and emotional depth. The song went on to earn GRAMMY® consideration at the 68th GRAMMY Awards (2026) in the categories Best Music Video and Best African Music Performance.

Love has captivated audiences through BBC Introducing at the Southbank Centre, Sofar Sounds, UK Black Pride, BET UK, and sold-out headline shows at The Lower Third and The Finsbury. She has also performed at international festivals including the Ghana Music Awards UK (2024), Klaipeda Jazz Festival in Lithuania (2020), Korce Beer Festival in Albania (2021), Bitola Stadium (2024), etc.

Her growing catalog includes “Classic” (with Virtuo, for Black History Month 2024), (2025)“Money Won’t Buy Peace”, “Like I Do” ft. Two Tigers, produced by TheBreed (who has worked with Anderson .Paak and Ella Mai), and “Timing”, produced by female producer Kiffa Soul. In 2026, Love released “Superpower”, an Afrobeat anthem in collaboration with her brother Life Itoya and Canadian violinists Momento. The song was produced by Momento, with additional production by Kristoffer Storjohann.

 

Love Itoya went viral when Ciara handed her the mic during a DJ AG Online set at King’s Cross Station, earning co-signs from Alex Scott, Jess Glynne, and Leigh-Anne (Little Mix).

With performances across the UK, Balkans, and Europe, Love Itoya continues to carve her place in the global pop-soul landscape, inspiring audiences worldwide with her message of self-love, resilience, and truth.
